1. PowerBeats Pro
I would say that this is one of the best sounding wireless audio products in the market right now. Besides being waterproof, sweat-resistant, and comfortable, the controls are on both the earbuds now so you can control your audio input from any side. As Beats is now under Apple, the PowerBeats Pro runs the Apple H1 chip which allows a clean and smoother connection with any Apple devices when compared to Android devices. The downfall of this is that the PowerBeats Pro uses the lightning cable to charge rather than USB Type-C.
Some other things that make the PowerBeats Pro stand out: It fits very well in the ear and also comes with different sized ear-tips to match your ear canal. This means choosing the right tips will make the ear-buds fit into your ear canal resulting in better bass reproduction because of the better seal. PowerBeats Pro comes with very good battery life with up to 9 hours of playtime and more. They also claim that 5 mins of charge will get you 1.5 hours of playtime. The Bass is amazing in this product. It thumps and produces a balanced audio output which is outstanding for a wireless earphone product.
Specifications:
- Audio Control – phone calls, volume, change soundtrack
- Run Time – 9 hours
- Assistance compatible – Siri
Sample Customer Review…I pre-ordered these headphones before reading any reviews because I have been so desperate to find good headphones to run with. In my nearly 30 years of existence, I’ve never been satisfied with a pair of headphones. I probably have the weirdest shapes ears ever because nothing fits them. Either they slide out or hurt, or both. Day 1- FINALLY THEY’RE HERE!!! 😍 I charged them while finishing my work day up (I think they came pretty much charged because they were at 100% within 5-10 minutes) then eagerly headed to the park for a test run. The temp has reached the 90’s here in Mississippi so it was inevitable that they would be receiving a sweat test! After 3 miles (41 minutes, let me mention I’m a beginner runner) I realized I never had to adjust them or push them back into my ear, not ONCE! I’m thinking this is too good to be true! I had forgotten I even had them on, other than the fact that I had a clean crisp bass playing in my ears. I also own a pair of Studio beats, and honestly these ear buds sounds almost as good… which is pretty awesome to not have to wear something so bulky but still have the noise cancellation and sound quality. Overall, it’s only been one day but my first impression is absolutely amazed. Side note, these were shipped in a box big enough to fit a baby heifer and it looked like it had been thrown off a mountain. I could almost remove the tiny product box through an opening of the baby heifer shipping box. Not sure if Amazon or UPS is to blame for that, but it definitely wasn’t the headphones fault.

2. Jaybird Vista
Although not a famous brand, Jaybird has had consistently good wireless earphones since 2015. With the Jaybird Vista, it is no different. It is light and has a simple design but is waterproof and sweat-resistant. Although not the best or class-leading, they are very good and worth every penny. They also come with a USB Type-C charging case and have no latency issues; proving that it is as good as the brands it’s competing against. The things that you are to keep in mind about the Jaybird Vista: It is very lightweight and comfortable as well as being durable, sweat-resistant, and waterproof.
The controls on the Vista are not the best and sometimes can be confusing. For example, if you want google assistant or Siri to work from the controls, you would have to sacrifice either play/pause controls or skip song controls. Their battery life is a good 6 hours with an extra 10 hours with the case. The phone app for Jaybird Vista gives you customizable EQ settings with a Bass range option which allows you to personalize EQ settings. The stock product comes Bass-boosted and the product overall has good audio quality
Specifications:
- Battery: 32 hours
- Battery Voltage: 3.6 V
- Waterproof: IPX7 certified
- Noise-isolation: passive
- Drive Size: 6mm
Sample Customer Review…I think these headphones are completely phenomenal they sound great especially since you can tweak the EQ on the app which is very responsive. They’re very comfortable I can wear them for hours without any ear fatigue plus they stay in my ear they have not once falling out. I also love the size of the case is nice and compact doesn’t take up too much space in my pocket and the magnets in the case are nice and strong your headphones will not fall out. They connect to my phone really fast to where they’re already connected by the time I can get just one in my ear. Calling on these things works great I haven’t had any issues with people not being able to hear me. The versatility of the buttons on the earphones aren’t the best but they offer what I need and it would have been a really nice plus if they could have made touch response buttons instead of traditional buttons but for me it’s not really that big of a deal. I really recommend these headphones Jaybird outdid themselves on this model and I’m excited to see what they come out with next!!!

3. Sony WF XB700
Staying on the Sony train, the Sony WF XB700 is one of the best wireless earphones for its price. They have amazing high-quality audio as usual and the bass is just so loud and clear. The ‘XB’ in Sony WF XB700 stands for eXtra Bass, so you know it has really good bass. This products’ sound quality is not as good as the Sony WF 1000XM3 but they do have waterproofing. The only downfall for this product is that you cannot use the Sony Phone app with this device to control the EQ settings which is kind of crazy and confusing for Sony.
Some of the features that make the product stand out: Good sound quality with excellent clean bass for a pair of wireless earphones. The EQ cannot be customizable as they do not connect to the Sony phone app but the overall audio is really good and bass-heavy. A sleek design with good button controls (volume controls are on the left and the other are on the right which is not normal) and are comfortable on the ears even though it might look otherwise. Their battery life is a good 9 hours and an extra 9 hours with the case. They claim to have fast charged with a 10-minute quick charge will give you 60 minutes of playtime.
Specifications:
- Battery: 5 hours
- Bluetooth profile: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP
- Range: 30ft
- Connector: USB-C type
Sample Customer Review…Found the perfect ear bud – at last! I’ve been through a few pair and there was something wrong with them whether it was the fit or the sound. Finally everything has come together for the perfect earbud – A SONY! I have always trusted Sony but for some reason overlooked them in the past. These buds have great sound! They have a pulsing bass that rattles the head – in a good way! The highs are crystal clear and the fit is perfect; I love how comfortable they are and how they stay in place no matter what activity I’m in, and also how outside noise is almost completely cancelled out. I have nothing but pros and so far no cons except for one: It is almost impossible to make heads or tails of of the user guide on how to read the battery life. They could have done a better job of explaining how to tell read the status of the battery – I consider myself pretty intelligent but I can’t figure this one out – guess it will have to play it “by ear” (no pun).

4. Jabra Elite 75t
This is one of the well-known budget Bass earphones out in the market. They come with a minimalist design and feel on both the case and earbuds. They also are waterproof, sweat-resistant and dust resistant. They have the noise-canceling ability and they work excellent for their use. The selling point for the Jabra is their HearThrough which helps give ambient noise and is very helpful. The other point is that they are not that expensive and are worth the price.
The main points that make the Jabra Elite a favorite among people: They can be connected to two devices at the same and handle eight devices. They are not expensive, have good sound quality with a sleek design and great features.
The sound is bassy but not too much, it is punchy and can be good. The phone app also allows EQ customization so you can control the bass however you like. The battery life is only 7.5 hours and an extra 15 hours with the case which comes with USB Type-C. There is also quick charging where a 10 minutes charge will give you up to 60 minutes of playtime. The connection is good but pretty nice button controls but there is some irritation or suction in your ear when you use the buttons on the earbuds which might need some getting used to.
Specifications:
- Speaker size: 6mm
- Noise-cancellation: Passive
- Music: 7.5 hours
- Connectivity: 2 devices at one time
- Connector: USB-C type
Sample Customer Review…These are some really good earbuds. I decided that I wanted to look into buying some truly wireless earbuds and came across these as being great for sound and great for working out. I’ve gotta say that they lived up to those standards. Upon receiving them all I had to do was setup the earbuds through Sound+ app made by Jabra where I found I was able to mess around with an equalizer. Once I got my settings set up it sounded great. The only thing I wish I’d known off the bat was that even though it sounds amazing, it didn’t sound as good as my wired earbuds, but let’s not let that take away from this great piece of tech. After that I decided to go to the gym and test out how they felt while working out. They felt great, not once did I feel like they would fall out since I swapped out the rubber earplugs for the smaller ones. Lifting and running, you name it, they stayed. Not to mention the usage of “Hear Through” which is enabled by tapping the left earbud. This made being able to talk to people and hear my surrounding so much better once activated. However if all you want to hear is your music, just turn off ”Hear Through” and let the noise cancelation do it’s work. Last note, when buying these earbuds I noticed that there were a lot of one star reviews DONT LET THOSE TELL YOU OTHERWISE, those reviews are made by buyers who received faulty earbuds. Don’t get me wrong everyone should receive working earbuds, but that doesn’t mean that it’s a bad product. Overall these are truly amazing earbuds and I highly recommend anyone buy them.

5. Sony WF-1000XM3
One of the most well-received and good wireless earphones by Sony is the WF-1000XM3 that comes with the active noise canceling feature which tries to give you the noise canceling of that of a headphone. It has two microphone noise sensors that capture the ambient noise and provide high-performance noise cancellation with high-quality audio.
It comes with a USB Type-C charging case which has a good minimalist design. The product is one of the wireless earphones but the only problem I would have with it is that there is no waterproofing. The main things to consider about the Sony WF-1000XM3: Amazing audio quality with Sony as always since they have been delivering consistently high-quality audio throughout the years.
The quality is almost comparable to some of the headphones in the market. The Sony WF-1000XM3 comes with built-in NFC which helps it pair by touch. They come with a wide range of ear tips with a different material which helps for a comfortable fit. Their phone app gives you good EQ settings that are customizable and have different ambient sound profiles that can help you when you are listening outdoors.
Their battery life is a good 6 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 8 hours with it turned off as well as an extra 18 hours and 32 hours with the case respectively. They also claim fast charging where 10 minutes of quick charge will give you 90 minutes of playtime. It has touch controls instead of buttons and has a sleek design but it is still a pricey product.
Specifications:
- Battery: 8 hours
- Noise-cancellation: Yes
- Connector: USB-C type
- Bluetooth Profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, HSP
- Drive Size: 6mm
Sample Customer Review…I’ve had the opportunity to sample some of the latest True Wireless products and over-ear headphones currently on the market. Suffice to say, when I had the opportunity to review the new WF-1000MX3, I took it. The charging case featured a silky, back neoprene finish with an elegant copper lid. The texture of the black plastic finish and copper accents on the headphones were tasteful and understated. The opening of the lid was smooth, and the lights on the case indicating the charge status were quite helpful. Putting the headphones in my ear were a piece of cake; all I had to do was insert the foam tip and slightly twist the headphones counter-clockwise until they were comfortably secure. Pairing the XM3s to my iPhone X was a simple task. But the sound; the sound blew me away immediately. After owning Apple AirPods for over half a year, as well as trying the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless and Bose headphones, I was totally shocked at how much better the sound was and how Sony could pack so many features into a such a portable product. The new noise cancelling chip completely eliminated the chatter surrounding me while the driver brought the concert to my ears! These are truly audiophile quality headphones with the ability for adjustments via the Sony Headphones Connect app. The Google Assistant integration makes these wireless earphones allow me to interact with my smart home and calendar without ever touching my phone. I cannot wait to purchase my own pair and enjoy my music, and nothing else.
