10 Best Thermal Coffee Maker Options

Thermal Coffee Makers are a game-changer to traditional coffee makers. Thermal carafes keep coffee hot for hours so you don’t have to microwave cold coffee ever again. That never ends up tasting as good as a freshly brewed pot. Other traditional coffee makers I have owned in the past without thermal carafes would get cold so fast, oftentimes within an hour.

This is not convenient, especially when lounging on a Sunday morning. A thermal carafe is a real game-changer but what makes the best thermal coffee maker?

1. Ninja Hot and Cold Brew System

The Ninja Hot and Cold Brew System is a versatile luxury brewing system. With it, you could brew coffee or tea and specialty drinks. It is capable of both hot and cold brews and has six cup sizes ranging from a single cup to travel-sized mugs. This thermal stainless steel carafe can hold up to 12 cups of coffee or tea and keep it at the perfect temperature.

During the summer, the coffeemaker can brew at lowered temperatures to produce cold brew. With the integrated milk frother you can make coffeehouse-quality lattes and cappuccinos.

You may wonder with such a versatile high-quality machine what could be the catch. That would be the price. It is more expensive than other thermal coffee makers and that is because of the variety of options available with this coffee maker.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Stainless steel metal, rubber, and plastic
  • Capacity up to 10 cups
  • Manual clean
  • 11.81 x 10.01 x 15 “
  • Includes foldaway frother
Pros
  • Compatible with tea and coffee
  • Brews in six sizes
  • Five different brewing types including rich/cold brew
  • Makes iced and hot brews and specialty drinks
  • Separated coffee and tea baskets
  • High-quality carafe
  • Easy to use with smart systems
  • Great integrated milk frother included
  • Recipe book included
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • High price for high quality
  • There is no hot plate
  • Takes a while to brew
  • The rich brew option is slow to complete
  • Some users report that the cold brew is a little watery

Sample customer review… My wife and I got tired of paying for coffee pods and we missed the taste of freshly ground coffee. So, we purchased the Ninja after some lengthly research. We made the right choice. This thing is GREAT! Seriously, after using the pods for so long we had forgotten what freshly brewed tasted like.

This machine makes coffee like you would get at a fancy restaurant. (If you could go to restaurants anymore…2020 pandemic if your reading this later on.) Anyway, we received the Ninja and quickly set it up with high hopes. The Ninja came through. The smell fo fresh coffee permeates the house now first thing in the morning and it’s wonderful.

Ease of use ? Yes, it’s extremely easy to use. Just keep the hopper full of water (no need to remove it if you don’t want to, its got a large door on the top for filling while still attached) or, just remove it hopper and take it to the sink. Ok, so it takes a few more minutes than a Keurig would, but it’s well worth the wait.

The machine is easy to assemble and easy to clean. Honestly, it’s just a good all around coffee maker. You get the same ease of use as you would with any pod coffee maker, but you get all the taste and aroma with this one.

Don’t hold back from purchasing one if you are so inclined.

This thing is awesome!

2. Keurig K-Duo Plus Coffee Maker

While Keurigs usually tend to be single-serve machines, the Keurig K-Duo Plus Coffee Maker is capable of brewing a single-serve or full pot of coffee. For a full pot, you can select between six to twelve cups. Either K-pods or ground coffee can be used with this coffee maker.

The thermal carafe is capable of keeping coffee hot for two hours. There are programmable options such as the 24-hour delay brew and a pause and pour feature. You can plan your brew start ahead of time so your coffee is brewed by the time you wake up. Its slim body makes it ideal for small kitchens as it does not take up much counter space.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Stainless steel
  • Manual clean
  • Capacity: 1-12 cups
  • Weight:16.1 lbs
  • 14.19  x 8.2 x 11.7 “
Pros
  • Duo purpose
  • Can use K-pods or coffee grounds
  • Can brew a single-serve or full pot of coffee
  • Compact design
  • 24-delay brew timer
  • Pause and Pour feature
Cons
  • No Automatic cleaning system
  • Requires regular cleaning

Sample customer review… This is a better machine than any coffee maker we have owned (approx. 10 ranging from cheap to $200 including Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, Mr. Coffee). It feels more solid. The parts fit together better. The decanter keeps coffee warm for more than 12 hours. There is no need for a warmer.

The design is superior as well. The buttons are simple, clear, and all in one place. Access for the coffee pods and filter are easily accessible — even under a cabinet. The water reservoir can be moved to either side or to the back – ingenious! There is no need to measure water for each brew. Just fill the water reservoir to “Max Fill” and set the number of cups with the brew buttons. The coffee maker uses the water it needs and leaves the rest in the reservoir. This thing is well designed and well made.

3. Zojirushi Thermal Coffeemaker

Heating the water at a high 200F, the Zojirushi Thermal Coffeemaker makes a great quality hot brew. On top of that, it comes with a permanent reusable filter. On the LCD screen, the coffee maker will indicate when it needs to be cleaned.

With a 10 cup capacity, the Zojirushi Thermal Coffeemaker can keep coffee hot for hours. It also has a Timer Saver mode for when you quickly want to get a cup or you can pre-program it to brew at a specified time. The design is simplistic with large clear buttons and a simple digital display. The handle also has a button on it to activate pouring and avoid spills.

It is also capable of brewing cold drinks. There is an extra maker on the water reservoir to indicate how much water to add for iced drinks. That way your brew is not watered down by ice. Now you can enjoy ice coffee in the summer and hot coffee in the winter.

Specifications

  • The brewing basket needs regular cleaning

Sample customer review… After being very disappointed by the previous coffee maker I had from Braun, I decided to try a brand that I did not yet know. The good reviews looked promising and after using this machine for 3 weeks I’m super pleased. I like the design, which seems to be very Japanese. But what struck me were the many small design features that just make this so easy to use:

1. The panel and buttons have an excellent user interface design. Not sure if it was luck, but the time was already set when plugging it in for the first time (The time was off by only 2 minutes). Unlike most appliances, where setting the time requires pressing x seconds until you see a 12:00 blinking and then have a hard time navigating until you reach the desired time,

maybe going too far and having to loop through it again… no, no … on this machine, there is an up and down button dedicated to the time and once you press it, it increments by one, press it long it increments by 10, leave it for 1 second and the time is set. Setting the timer for the machine to start automatically is just as easy. I love it.

2. While some parts of the coffee maker are made out of plastic, the plastic has a very durable feel to it. Pieces come apart very easily which is fantastic for cleaning. The provided scoop has 2 measures (single & double), which is a huge time saver for me. My last machine had a tiny scooper and it took double the time and always caused some coffee to miss the filter.

3. There are 2 handles on the bottom that make it easy to move the machine. Since I don’t like brewing under my cabinets, I always move it a bit to the front so that the water vapor can escape easily. These two handles are good design thinking, given that the machine is quite large.

Finally, I like to mention that the taste is perfect for a drip coffee maker. I read some reviews that complained about it being too weak, well that might be if you are brewing just a couple of cups. In my experience, you always need to adjust to the machine, coffee used, how fine it’s ground, and how much water you use.

4. Cuisinart Classic Thermal Programmable Coffeemaker

The Cuisinart Classic Thermal Coffeemaker has the style of a traditional coffee maker. It has a self-clean feature as well as a 24-hour delay brew feature. This allows the coffee maker to brew before you even get out of bed. This machine also includes a permanent gold-tone coffee filter that makes your brew taste better and reduces waste. It also reduces the frequency of descaling and hard water buildup.

The carafe can store 10 cups of coffee and keeps it heated at the right temperature for up to four hours. You can set the maker for 1-4 cups if you will not need the whole 10 cup pot. There is also a 12 cup capacity model available. If you like traditional coffee makers and are looking for something that’s a decent price and easy to use then the Cuisinart Thermal Coffeemaker is right for you.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Stainless steel
  • Cup capacity: Up to 10 cups; 1-4 cup settings
  • Manual clean and Self-Clean
  • 24-hour brew
  • 15 x 8.3 x 17.2 “
  • Weight: 4 lbs
  • Includes GoldTone Filter
Pros
  • Double-wall insulated
  • Automatic
  • Includes specialized GoldTone charcoal water filter
  • 24-hour delay brew feature
  • Easy to program
  • Brew Pause feature
  • Adequately hot for three to four hours in the carafe
  • Good quality materials
  • Consistent results
Cons
  • Requires regular cleaning to prevent residue build-up
  • Loud beeping noise when the brew is finished

Sample customer review… I received this as a gift and I am thrilled with the item. I am a big coffee drinker so I need a coffeepot that will hold up to my use. This product does the trick. First, let’s start with the water area, it is easy to fill and see how much water you have placed in the water holding/reserve area.

Next, you can easily fill the basket with or without a paper filter. It fits in the holder easy and the lid closes securely. The coffee brews and the coffee pot fills only when the pot is securely placed on the heating element and it does not overflow the coffee pot.

IF you want a cup during the process of brewing, you simply remove the pot and there is no continuous stream of coffee, it stops and does not make a mess. Once complete the unit beeps which is great so you know if you are waiting for the full pot.

There is a drawback but I understand why it is made this way. The cover on the coffee pot does not push open you must actually remove it to get in and clear the pot. HOWEVER, this also stops the lid from simply opening up and spilling coffee all over making a mess, or burning you so it is a great safety feature. I have in the past with other pots made messes because of that issue.

I love this pot. I would highly recommend the pot for anyone wanting a great pot that brews well and works as described.

5. Breville Precision Thermal Coffee Maker

The Breville Precision Thermal Coffee Maker is also certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America for premium quality. Its gold preset setting allows you to brew coffee to the high-quality standard set by the SCAA. In addition to the gold setting, the Breville has a Fast, Strong, Iced, Cold Brew, and My Brew setting.

The Thermocoil Heating System enhances water purity and the PID Control feature allows you to adjust to the ideal temperature of your desired brewing method. The flow rate, bloom time, and brewing time in the customizable My Brew mode can be adjusted based on your style of coffee. This brewer includes a dual filter basket with flat and cone options.

The Breville Precision Thermal Coffee Maker provides a lot of brewing options and control to create your desired brew. It is ideal for coffee enthusiasts who want to experiment with high-quality coffee as it can be over complicated for beginners.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Aluminum, Stainless steel
  • Manual clean
  • Capacity:12 cups
  • Weight:3.15 lbs
  • 12.4  x 6.7  x 15.7“
Pros
  • A six preset settings
  • A customizable setting
  • Has a PID Control feature
  • Water purification system
  • Certified by the SCAA
  • Includes a dual-filter
Cons
  • Too complicated for beginners
  • Loud operation

Sample customer review… I’ve had this coffee maker for about a month now. I was skeptical, researching higher-end coffee makers proved difficult, with lots of mixed reviews and complaints. When the price dropped on Breville I picked one up.

So far it has exceeded my expectations. Coffee taste has been amazing, it really outshined our cheap drip maker with clean, hot, distinct tasting coffee. The machine has been easy to use and maintain, I often fill a few inches above the max fill line to make a bigger pot. The stainless steel carafe provided is of excellent quality, it keeps hot coffee steaming hot for many hours.

Just make sure you rinse some hot water in the stainless steel carafe before you make your pot of coffee. A cold carafe won’t keep your coffee hot for very long. Other than that I just hope this machine maintains its quality for a long time. I’m very pleased with the taste and quality of this coffee maker.

6. Technivorm Moccamaster

Certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America and handbuilt in the Netherlands, the Techinvorm Moccamaster is a durable and premium quality thermal drip brewer. In addition to a stainless steel carafe, this coffee maker comes with a dual-coil heater that heats the water quickly for brewing.

When the water reservoir is empty, the machine will automatically shut off. Not over complicated with settings or touch screens, the Technivorm Moccamaster is easy to use and ideal for those who value simplicity. Each new machine includes a five-year warranty

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Aluminum, Stainless steel
  • Manual clean
  • Capacity: Up to 8 cups
  • Weight:6.26 lbs
  • 6.8  x 11.5  x 13“
Pros
  • Automatic shut off
  • Simple design and easy to use
  • Dual-coil heater heats water faster
  • Certified by the SCAA
  • Includes five-year warranty
Cons
  • Not ideal for those looking for a lot of features

Sample customer review… Reserving my right to amend these comments, the Moccamaster brews excellent, HOT coffee. I am far from being a coffee snob…I just like tasty, HOT coffee and this brewer does a great job. The 8-cup capacity is exactly that…8 measuring cups or approx 5 small mugs. It fits the morning need of the 2 people in my home.

Brewing is fast…maybe 5 minutes total. You can extend extraction time by placing the filter unit in the middle or “half-pot” position. It will not overflow but extends brew time by 1-2 minutes. I usually warm the carafe with hot water prior to brewing and it keeps the coffee hot for about 2 hours. Again, it fits my needs plus the removable parts make it easy to clean. And, it comes with a 5-year factory warranty!

So, as of today, it gets 5 stars plus the seller (Hufford) provided fast delivery and excellent communications.

7. Mr. Coffee 10 Cup Coffeemaker

Mr. Coffee’s 10 Cup Coffeemaker has its very own self-clean setting. Cleaning your coffee machine is now as simple as pressing a button and the machine will notify you when it needs to be cleaned. This is not a common function on coffee makers, especially ones with thermal carafes. Another added function is a Dim Display button which can delay brewing and time the brew of the coffee.

The strength of the brew can be chosen and there is a pause feature that allows you to sneak a cup while the pot is brewing. You also won’t have to worry about accidentally leaving the coffee pot on when you leave the house as there is a two-hour auto shut-off feature. The double-walled thermal carafe stays hot for seven hours.

For a low price, Mr. Coffee offers several features like auto shut-off, pause setting, brew-strength control, and delay brewing features. It also comes with a permanent GoldTone water filter that improves your coffee’s taste, decreases the frequency of descaling, and lessens hard water deposits.

You will not get the highest quality coffee out of this thermal coffee maker but you will get reliable consistency and an easy-to-use interface for a great price. The brewing time for the Mr. Coffee 10 Cup Coffeemaker is up to 20 percent faster than comparable units as stated by the manufacturer.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Stainless steel
  • Cup Capacity: Up to 10 cups
  • Manual Clean
  • Freshness Timer
  • Delay Brew Timer
  • Weight: 5.1 lbs
  • 13.1” x 8.7” x 14.3”
Pros
  • Affordable
  • Programmable timer
  • Delay Brew setting
  • Includes GoldTone permanent water filter
  • Freshness Timer
  • Brews fast
  • Single-cup option
Cons
  • Prone to leaking
  • Not the strongest coffee; filtration system can impair flavor
  • Generates a lot of steam

Sample customer review… I have had several coffee pots over the years (and at 62 years old, that is saying a lot!). The last one kept overflowing from the basket. I threw it in the trash. Was not even worth sending to the 2nd hand store. Junk. This one is a delight to use. Easy to put together in the morning. Easy to clean. Has not run over yet.

That is a wonderful thing. Sucks to have to clean your fresh coffee off of the kitchen counter then make another pot only to wait and hope it won’t do it again. The best thing about this pot though is that it makes really hot coffee. Even an hour later when my hubby is out of bed (finally) he gets hot coffee too. Just a really good coffee pot. Perfect coffee, hot, easy clean-up.

8. Black + Decker 12 Cup Thermal Coffeemaker

Black + Decker’s 12 Cup Thermal Coffeemaker will keep your coffee hot for hours. Its double-walled, vacuum-sealed carafe keeps the coffee well insulated. No more having to microwave cold coffee when you choose a coffee maker that you know keeps coffee hot for hours. It also has a large capacity, able to hold up to 12 cups so it is ideal for large families.

A downside to this model is that it does not have a built-in heating element in the carafe for camping outdoors. If you decide to take the pot out of the machine it will not stay warm. Make sure to put the carafe back on the hot plate when not in use.

Since it’s a thermal carafe, Black + Decker recommends that you periodically flush a vinegar and water solution to remove hard water from the heater.

On this model, there are preferred brew settings like ‘strong’ for a bolder flavor. The showerhead feature on this coffee maker ensures that you receive the full flavor of the coffee by completely coating the beans.

With the timer setting, you can set a brew to start before you even get out of bed. No more have to wait around tired in the morning having to wait for the coffee to be done. Its Sneak-A-Cup feature also allows you to grab a cup while the maker is mid-brew.

This thermal coffeemaker has an incredible value with multiple programming settings for an unbeatable price. It also includes a washable brew basket, a showerhead water dispenser, and a no-spill lid.

Specifications

  • Thermal Carafe
  • Stainless steel and Plastic
  • 1- 12 Cup Capacity
  • Manual Clean
  • Auto Shut-Off
  • 24-hour brew
  • Sneak-A-Cup setting
  • 8” L x 11” W x 11.5” H
  • Weight: 4.0 lbs
  • 2- Year Warranty
Pros
  • Double-walled and vacuum-sealed thermal carafe with no-spill spout
  • Large cup capacity
  • Easy menu interface
  • Pre-programmable settings
  • Easy to use and compact
  • Includes a washable brew basket
  • Strength selector setting
  • It shows the time since the previous brew
  • Many features at an affordable price
  • Special water dispenser for maximum flavor
Cons
  • Screen is small
  • Plastic elements could break easily
  • The plastic taste lingers for the first few brews
  • No heating coil in the carafe
  • 12-cup may seem too big for some
  • Not super high quality but very decent for the price

Sample customer review… What was I waiting for? I drink a lot of coffee. Now I’ve always had a glass pot coffee maker and briefly went down the Keurig road (hated it.) After breaking my 3rd glass pot in the past few years I started looking into getting a stainless steel pot. I saw a few with a water reservoir but I decided against it. Good freshwater makes for good coffee. This one seemed to get good reviews so I ordered it.

Boy am I glad that I did! The pot is huge (a lot of stainless steel pots were only 10 cups, this one makes 12.) The design is sleek and matches my kitchen so well. The auto feature is nice when I remember to actually prep it at night. There is a bold feature (yaasss!) The display will tell you how many minutes, up to 2 hours, have passed since it brewed.

The best part however is the pot. It keeps the coffee warm for hours and hours. I have 4 kids and run a home daycare so I don’t always get around to getting my 2nd and 3rd cups until hours after brewing. And I hate microwaved coffee! This coffee maker has been a lifesaver. I can have my early morning cup. Get thru my morning schedule and go back for another cup and it’ll be just as hot! No reheating!

My only complaint is that I wish the filter was cone-shaped instead of a basket. Just a personal preference of mine. (I think the chance for grounds getting into the brew increase with a basket filter that all.) But other than that this has been the best coffee maker I have ever bought.

Its microprocessor-controlled hot water showerhead allows the perfect brew by saturating the grounds in timed cycles. The coffee maker can brew two to nine cups in less than ten minutes. This thermal coffee maker brews at an ideal temperature (197.6 to 204.8 degrees Fahrenheit) which gives it a stamp of approval by the Specialty Coffee Association.

This coffee brewer stands at 17 inches tall and will take up a lot of space in a small kitchen. WIth a simple programmable timer, this model is user friendly. On the LED screen, the OXO displays the brewing status, time, and coffee freshness. Although it does not come with a grinder, OXO does make its own enabling you to match appliances if you desire.

Specifications

  • Thermal Carafe
  • Stainless steel and Plastic
  • Cup capacity: 2 to 9 cups
  • Self Clean feature
  • 24-hour brew
  • 15 x 8.3 x 17.2 “
  • Weight: 7.8 lbs
  • Pause setting
Pros
  • Automatic pre-infusion
  • Programmable timer
  • Displays brew status and coffee freshness
  • Approved by the Specialty Coffee Association
  • Brews at an ideal temperature
Cons
  • Not compact or ideal for small spaces
  • Carafe pours quite slowly
  • The brew basket can drip when the carafe is removed

Sample customer review… Really, this an amazing coffee machine! I’ll stack this up against any coffee house to replicate with this little gem is able to pull off! It’s like night and day from other machines we’ve owned. The little “brain” is very intelligent and actually fun to watch how it brews, with dramatic paused as it coordinates blossom, temp, and just the right amount of liquid at all times.

Highly recommend it if you are looking for a unit that is pleasing aesthetically on your counter, makes great coffee, and the thermal carafe keeps it at temp for a long long time.

10. Capresso Digital Coffeemaker

The Capresso 10 Cup Thermal Coffeemaker is noiseless and has an integrated burr grinder. This grinder allows finer grounds than standard blade grinders and produces a great coffee aroma. There are five fineness settings, from ultra-fine to coarse, giving you control of the grinding process.

A high-quality grinder such as the Capresso burr grinder allows you to enjoy the convenience of pre-ground coffee with the superior flavor of whole coffee beans. The bean hopper can hold beans for up to 20 cups of coffee although the thermal carafe can hold 10 cups. This allows you to use two cycles before having to refill the hopper.

There are plenty of ways to experiment and find the right ground consistency for your chosen beans with the Capresso 10 Cup Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker. In addition to the ground consistency, you can choose your desired brew strength- mild, regular, or strong.

The digital display also keeps track of the settings of your previous brew in case you forget your desired settings. In addition to a programmable timer that brews the coffee before you wake up and an integrated burr grinder, this coffee maker includes a high-quality charcoal filtration system. This will filter out any impurities in your tap water.

Despite its 10 cup capacity, the Capresso is surprisingly compact. It can also brew at maximum capacity in less than 10 minutes. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee well insulated and hot for hours. With all of these added features, the Capresso 10 Cup Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker is well worth the price.

Specifications

  • Thermal carafe
  • Stainless steel
  • Manual clean
  • Weight:10 lbs
  • Includes burr grinder
  • 9 x 9.5 x 15.5 “
Pros
  • Includes an adjustable integrated burr grinder
  • The grinder has five ground settings
  • Can program both brewing and grinding
  • Can adjust the coffee strength
  • A good quality filtration system
  • Programmable Delay Brew Timer
  • Adjustable brew strength settings
  • Has a high-quality charcoal filtration system
  • Compact and ideal for small kitchens
Cons
  • Has a learning curve to getting flavorful coffee
  • Does not grind oily beans well
  • No Automatic cleaning system
  • Angled spout causes a bit of coffee to stay in the bottom of the carafe

Sample customer review… This is the best grind and brew on the market. I tried Krups and Cuisinart, both were far inferior to this model. I bought my first Capresso 5 or 6 years ago and bought a second recently to keep at a vacation house we bought. This model is designed so that the steam does not back up into the grind chamber.

This is the most important design issue with grind and brews! Other models, like Cuisinart and Krups, have steam back up into the grind chamber, which requires daily cleaning of wet coffee grounds out of the grind chamber and the chute to the filter area. If you really want the best grind and brew on the market this is it.

Buying Guide: How To Choose the Best Thermal Coffee Maker for You

Materials

One of the most important aspects of a thermal carafe coffee maker is the materials that it is made out of. I would not recommend anything over stainless steel. Stainless steel, especially if double-wall insulated, is going to keep the heat trapped in the carafe. Carafes made of plastic are not as well insulated or durable. Stainless steel is of higher quality, durable, and guaranteed to last a long time.

Capacity

Most thermal coffee makers contain a large capacity of ten to twelve cups, although there are some exceptions. The bigger the water reservoir is, generally the less compact it will be. This is something to keep in mind when choosing the right thermal coffee maker. Do you value capacity or compactness more?

Settings

Many thermal coffee makers often come with added features as well. Many of them have delay-brew/ programmable timer settings so that you can set when your coffee will brew. This allows you to instantly get a fresh cup as soon as you wake up in the morning instead of having to wait for the machine to be done brewing.

Some even have a sneak-a-cup or pause setting so you can grab a cup of coffee while the machine is still brewing. They can also allow customization of different brew strengths to meet your preferences. A few machines also have an automated self-cleaning system. This allows you to easily remove any hard water build-up that results over time from using the machine.

Added Features

In addition to convenient settings, some coffee makers included added benefits. Some include a built-in filtration system to filter out any impurities in your tap water. This also helps decrease the frequency of hard water build-up or the need for descaling. Some models are capable of cold and hot brews. Some have integrated milk frothers for latte and cappuccino making. Finally, some offer grinders so you can use whole beans that create a more flavorful cup.

The amount of diversity and customization available with thermal carafe coffee makers is fantastic. Ultimately the best thermal coffee maker for you is up to what you are looking to get out of a coffee maker. Our list explores some of the most highly praised makers on the market.

Conclusion

As long as you choose a thermal carafe made of stainless steel it is going to do a good job at insulating the coffee to stay hot. The ideal coffee maker for you ultimately comes down to what you would like to get out of it. Do you value large capacity or compactness? What type of settings do you think are important? How do you want to use your machine: freshly ground or pre-ground coffee? Do you want an integrated grinder or milk frother?
