This video conferencing headset offers exceptional comfort and quality. They are equipped with memory foam that provides maximum comfort. Alongside the great comfort, the sound is also impeccable. They have high-resolution audio that will make for a great listening experience.

Specifications

  • Noise-canceling: No
  • Compatibility: All devices

Sample customer review… Initially, I was semi-impressed with the sound out of the box but knew that after a week of use when these got fully broken in I’d be happier. And I was right. A week later these things have softened up a bit and the sound signature is on point with what I enjoy.

Overall happy with these for what I listen to. Bass is there and tight, sub-bass is also there, but because these are open back, it does not get as rumbly as some may like. This can be mostly fixed with a headphone amp. Mids are excellent. And highs are clear, not tinny, and don’t cause listening fatigue.

3. Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series I)

[amazon box=”B01E3SNO1G” description=” ” rating=”4.4″]

The Bose Quiet Comfort 35 exceeds expectations in the noise-cancelling department. They feature an optimized EQ and 20 hour battery life. Great comfort is another feature of these headphones. Although their price is on the higher side, individuals who look for quality video conferencing headsets with impressive sound should go for these.

Specifications

  • Noise-canceling: Yes
  • Compatibility: All devices

Sample customer review… I’ve already brought the QC35 on a couple of plane trips, and it has performed quite well, muting the dull roar of the engines down to almost complete silence. It’s the only way to really enjoy a video or music on a flight without jacking up the volume to harmful levels in your ears. Now that the FAA has relaxed the electronics-off rules, you can leave this device turned on the entire flight, from take-off to landing.

The battery seems to last a very long time; I haven’t done a drainage test but they are rated 20 hours and I have yet to get them down below 60%. They charge up quickly on a typical micro-USB charger and you can take them on a pretty long plane ride and not worry about needing to recharge. Your phone will die a lot sooner than these headphones. They will work without battery charge, by the way, if you use the included cable, though of course, you don’t get the noise cancellation.

Since the ear pads are made of memory foam and covered with leather, discomfort will never be an issue when wearing these.

Specifications

  • Noise-canceling: Yes
  • Compatibility: All devices

Sample customer review… I bought these for sound quality, not for all the extras that come with them. They truly deliver on sound quality.  Yes, these are pricey but in my opinion, “worth it” if you prefer sound quality over all other reasons to buy Momentum 2 in-ear earbuds. Answering calls is efficient but I was able to hear the wind blowing in calls. Definitely not a deal-breaker. If all I got was sound quality then I would gladly fork over the bucks for this. Transparency mode is good, if you want it, and on par with Apple products. If the musical sound is your main agenda ( 20 to 20,000Hz) then these should satisfy. The sound stage is excellent.

Doing a Mute/Unmute on the headset is correctly mirrored by the Teams app and visible to other conference participants. If anything the headset suffers from still being a phone-centric device. Buying Guide: Things to Consider when Purchasing a Video Conferencing Headset

While looking for the best video conferencing headset to purchase, there are many factors to consider: comfort, sound quality, microphone quality, noise cancellation and price range. It is easy to become overwhelmed with the plethora of product options and features. However, try to break down the essentials for video conferences and communication in an online setting.

Sound Quality

Sound quality is very important for both listening and communicating in a video conference and using a video conferencing headset. There are professional-level audio headsets on the market, but most are not necessarily suitable for virtual meetings. Instead, look for audio devices that are most suitable for conference calls with a focus on clear and communicative microphone input and voice output. Depending on what your preferences are, headphones that play music at a superb quality are often extremely expensive in comparison to other video conferencing headsets that offer decent and effective voice and audio.

Microphone

Another step to consider is looking for suitable microphones to go with your video conferencing headset for conference calls. There are extremely high-quality mics on the market, but those tend to range at very high prices. Find a microphone that has a clear, consistent output that will last for a good amount of time.

Comfort

Find a video conferencing headset that you will feel comfortable in for hours on end. Not every video conference will last 8 hours; however, consider the comfort level of having a headset on for multiple days in a row. It is important to find the right build for both the weight of the headphones and the pressure they impose on your ears. Some more expensive products might be too heavy to handle after an extended period of time; while other lighter products may be less pricey but may not be as durable. It is all about finding the happy medium that suits both your expectancy and price range.

Noise Cancellation

Another feature to consider is noise cancellation. Before investing in a video conferencing headset with this feature, consider if it is necessary for both your environment and your preferences. Noise cancellation headphones tend to range higher in price; however, if it falls within your price range and usability, then it is something to invest in.

Optimization & Personalization

Finding the optimal video conference headset comes down to your personal preferences and price range. Headsets are generally pretty expensive, so think of buying one as more of an investment for whatever suits your needs. Certain features will come at a higher price, but do not let that dissuade you from making a purchase that will help to enhance your video call experience or quality. Take the time to understand what you are looking for when it comes to quality and comfort for video conferencing headsets and make a decision according to those factors.

Conclusion

In Conclusion, in a time where video conferences are more prevalent than ever, it is extremely important for you to have a reliable video conferencing headset. We hope the information we provided above will help you choose the best video conferencing headset that best suits your needs.
