1. AirPods Pro

Sale
Apple AirPods Pro
295,706 Reviews

AirPods Pro are true wireless earbuds that offer superior sound quality. The design is also stylish with the white color and simple design. These earbuds have active noise-canceling features that are beneficial for a loud environment, which would be helpful if you are working at home with family or roommates. The mic function is excellent considering that there are built-in mics inside the headphone.

However, AirPods Pro has shorter battery life when compared to other headsets and the price is not as affordable if you are shopping with a limited budget. Moreover, AirPods are meant to be used with Apple products. If you want its maximum function, it is best to pair it with Apple products, such as an iPhone or Macbook. Overall, this would be one of the best headphones for zoom meetings.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: In-Ear
  • Wireless range: N/A
  • Battery life: 4.5 hours plus 24 hours with charging case
  • Impedance: N/A
  • Frequency response: N/A
Pros
  • ANC
  • Superior sound
  • Mic inside and outside the Airpods
Cons
  • Pricey
  • Need apple product to maximize the function
  • Short battery life

Sample Customer Review…After starting to work from home and having many conference calls, I decided to purchase the Pro version of the Airpods and they are great. They stay in my ear much better than the cheaper ones and the noise cancellation helps with the other noises in the house.

I will say that the noise cancellation is almost too much for phone conversations since you can’t hear yourself talk much either. The noise cancellation is best for music. The transparency mode is good for just leaving them in your ears to hear other surrounding noises. They have transparency mode, noise cancellation mode, and NC Off mode that is somewhere in between the other two modes. I use NC off for telecons, transparency mode between calls, and NC for music.

These are especially good for me since I can only hear out of one ear so I no longer have to rotate which arm is holding the phone to my one good ear or use a speakerphone. I can actually rotate the two Airpods in my one ear as the batteries die (about every 3 hours with calls on and off).

Using the right one in my left ear takes a little extra care when inserting it to “trick” the sensors but you can put it in your ear pointing up, allow it to initialize, and then rotate it down and it works fine.

Love ’em.

2. Sony WH-1000XM4

Sony WH-1000XM4 is one of the best quality headphones for video conferencing. It has industry-leading noise-canceling technology with touch sensor control and excellent audio quality. Working or going to class at home can be difficult if you are in a noisy environment, especially if you are living with family or roommates.

The excellent dual noise sensor for a noise-canceling feature would be a life-saver for you. Another helpful feature of the Sony WH-1000XM4 is its speak-to-chat technology. It automatically reduces audio volume during conversations by focusing the talking on the call. All these features definitely rank Sony WH-1000XM4 as one of the best headphones for zoom meetings.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-Ear
  • Wireless range: 30 meters
  • Battery life: 30 hours with 10 Min charge 5 hours playback
  • Impedance: 47 ohm
  • Frequency response: 4Hz to 40kHz
Pros
  • Long battery life
  • Advanced noise-cancelling
  • Superior sound and call quality
  • Touch Sensor controls
  • Ability for multipoint pairing
Cons
  • Higher price

Sample Customer Review…I really enjoy this headset! It is expensive but worth it! It feels very light on your head. You can immediately notice some noise cancellation when you put the headset on even without it being powered up. The sound quality is top-notch. One of my favorite features is being able to cover the right ear with your hand and it will immediately lower the volume so you can have a conversation with someone and it will return back to regular volume immediately once you stop covering it. The 30-hour battery life is amazing! It is very easy to control the volume/skip song with the swipe feature on the right ear. One thing which I think Sony will implement in the future is having the carrying case provide extra battery like what was just introduced with the Bose 700 and has been a feature for wireless earbuds.

3. Plantronics BackBeat Go 810

No products found.

Plantronics BackBeat Go 810 has an excellent acoustic signature that will take your audio experience and appreciation to new levels. It is not only a good choice for zoom meetings but also suitable for music on a daily basis. Not to mention, the unbeatable price would save you from breaking the bank. However, the noise-canceling feature is not as good as it could be. If ANC is your priority in your search for headsets, this might not be for you.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-Ear
  • Wireless range: 100 meters
  • Battery life: 22 – 28 hours
  • Eq presets: customize sound through Plantronics backbeat app
Pros
  • Excellent sound and build quality
  • Memory foam pad for comfort
  • Affordable
  • Wide Connection Range
Cons
  • Minimal noise canceling
  • Lower quality headband design

Sample Customer Review…I’ve owned quite a few pairs of Bluetooth headphones over the years. These are the nicest I have tried so far. The thing that impresses me most about these particular headphones is the time you can use them between charging. I am used to getting maybe 8 hours of playback at the most from my former headphones. These have cruised well past 12 hours with no end to the charge insight.

Aside from the long battery life, the over-ear fit is also a pretty incredible feature. These headphones are not lightweight in any respect, but the over-ear fit is extremely comfortable and is the best environment, by far, to listen to music in. Other than studio-quality speakers and your own soundstage, music just doesn’t get any better than with over-ear headphones.

The noise-canceling feature is impressive, but the overall sound is a lot better with it turned off. If you are listening to something in mono that does not have great sound quality to begin with, then perhaps the noise-canceling feature might work better for you. For music, I would not bother with it though.

The build quality of these headphones is excellent and the 40mm drivers are more than adequate for producing great audio across the full audio spectrum. Pairing via Bluetooth is easy-peasy. No need to even glance at the instructions in order to get your headphones up and running. I think that these headphones are an excellent choice, especially in this price range.

4. Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earbuds

For those who don’t want the bulk of an over-ear headphone, but aren’t quite willing to go full earbuds, there is the Powerbeats Pro with an ear hook. Beats and Apple came together to give users style and quality.

These don’t actively cancel noise, but they do block ambient noise while allowing you to hear yourself on a call. They also have microphones meant to isolate your voice, so you can be heard clearly from the other side.

These earbuds can work with Apple and Android products, have a 9-hour battery (or 24 with the chargeable case) and come in multiple colors. They are on the pricier side of things, but an optional warranty through Apple means you can expect to get at least 2 years out of them.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Buds, with hook
  • Battery life: Up to 24 hours
  • Android and Apple compatible
Pros
  • Earhooks for stability
  • Physical button controls
  • Noise isolation
  • Color options
Cons
  • Bigger and with a bigger case than earbuds
  • Not actively noise canceling

Sample Customer Review…I wear these every single day – for working out, relaxing, shopping, sleeping.

Honestly, these have changed my life and I highly recommend them. I have had problems with pods staying in my ears and have tried many brands, these e are by far my favorite! You can adjust the wrap-around part so that you barely feel it, but you know it’s secure. The noise-canceling is not as significant as some other brands, but it’s enough. The REAL difference for me is the battery life. I often fall asleep listening to audible or podcasts and I can wear them throughout the night without interruption (there’s nothing worse than waking up to a loud “charge battery” announcement.) The battery life truly lasts 8-9 hours. Plus, you can get great colors. My pink ones are so cute!

5. Jabra Evolve 75 MS

The Jabra Evolve 75 is a beautifully crafted, very comfortable, noise-canceling headphone with excellent sound and microphone quality. It should be everything you would hope for to attend zoom meetings. The wide-roaming range gives you the freedom to walk around without disconnecting. You can even use the Jabra Link 370 USB adapter included with the purchase to enhance connectivity.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Two Ear
  • Wireless range: 100 meters
  • Battery life: 18 hours
  • Frequency response: 20Hz-20Hz
Pros
  • Excellent microphone quality
  • Advanced active noise cancellation
  • Wide connection range
Cons
  • Expensive

Sample Customer Review

This headset is fantastic. I was working in a coffee shop yesterday – no one I was in a meeting with could even tell! The microphone noise cancellation is amazing and my voice comes through very clear. Honestly, I haven’t even used all the features yet I’m just so excited to have a headset that will let me work anywhere without noise being too much for my coworkers!

They’re reasonably comfortable – if you wear them too long there will be a little pressure as they’re on-ear. They’re flexible and can be either Bluetooth or USB connection so I can easily switch from phone to laptop. They come with a nice carrying case, always a plus. It always tells you how many hours of use you have left. Seriously, this headset is great.

6. Bose 700 Noise Cancelling Headphones

Nothing would go wrong with Bose if you are looking for the best headphones for zoom meetings. Bose Headphones 700 has 11 levels of noise-canceling technology with 4 microphones for Voice Pickup to let the person on the other side hear you clearly. This would be helpful in meetings, especially when you are talking most of the time for your job or classes.

Moreover, it provides one-touch control for Spotify and the ability to recover songs from your last session. It also works with Alexa if you want to take it to another level in your smart home.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-Ear
  • Battery life: 20 hours
  • 11 levels of active noise canceling
  • Frequency response: N/A
Pros
  • Long battery life
  • Superior noise cancellation
  • Over ear comfortable design
Cons
  • Expensive

Sample Customer Review…So, I rarely leave reviews but I’m floored by the noise-canceling capabilities of these headphones. I literally use it all day long for three purposes: as a speaker/microphone for phone calls and Zoom meetings, to listen to podcasts and YouTube videos, and to block out noise since I live downtown Seattle.

The quality is really good–not quite pro quality but it does have a great even tone with a great balance of treble and bass. Same with phone calls–a great balance of being able to hear them, as well as them able to hear me through my noise-canceling microphone. I was sitting outside on my balcony one day (right in the heart of Second Avenue downtown) chatting with my boyfriend on FaceTime and he said “Wow, it’s really quiet downtown tonight.” Nope. There were sirens going on all evening, but he couldn’t hear them. So, I really value that feature.

7. Plantronics (Poly) Voyager Focus UC

Plantronics Voyager Focus UC is one of the best headphones for zoom meetings on the market. It is easy to set up and the sound is clear with ANC technology. Voice is crisp and clear with its audio output, and it has a good bass response with no muddiness. The headset connects to PC and smartphone easily, and switching between devices is a breeze.

The price is reasonable for a good quality pair of headphones. The product comes with a charging stand; however, it has shorter battery life compared to other options. One of the cool features is the Dynamic Mute Alert that senses and informs you when you are talking while on mute.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-Ear
  • Wireless range: 30 meters
  • Battery life: 12-15 hours
  • Frequency response: 20Hz- 20kHz
Pros
  • Active noise-cancelling
  • Over ear design
  • Great sound quality
Cons
  • Shorter battery life

Sample Customer Review…I can’t believe I haven’t had them for work all along. I use them for work, I work in admissions for a local university and regularly speak with students each day, as well as communicate with other members of our staff through Microsoft teams (since we are all remote). This headset has a button on one ear that opens up Teams which is a great feature I wasn’t aware of. The noise cancellation is pretty good, and the charging stand that comes with the headset might be my favorite thing since I don’t have to actively plug them in and it looks nicer than them just laying on my desk. I haven’t used them for music so I can’t speak to the music control on the other ear. I love that the mute button is on the bottom side of the mic where it can’t accidentally be pressed.

The USB has a light on the edges of it and indicates if your mic is in use or muted which I really like.

When you turn the headset on it tells you how much battery life in hours you have as well as what it’s connected to, that’s really important to me so I know if the charge will last through the end of my shift or not, but they seem to charge quickly. I had them on the base for about an hour and they got 5 more hours of talk time.

I regularly get up and am away from my pc when speaking and I haven’t had any connectivity issues, for reference my home is about 1,200 sqft.

The sound quality is great too. Overall I’m glad I spent the extra money to have what seems to be a reliable and quality product.

 8. COWIN E7

COWIN E7 provides great quality audio and comfort for video conferencing at a reasonable price. Noise-canceling is one of the greatest features of this headphone that can help you concentrate if you are working in a distracting environment. And this feature works in wired and wireless modes depending on your desire. And if you love music, COWIN E7 would be a plus with its heavy bass providing exceptional audio quality. And not to mention, the price is absolutely a steal.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-Ear
  • Battery life: 30 hours with a built-in 750mAh battery won’t allow your headphones to power off
  • Impedance: 16 ohm
  • Frequency response: 20Hz-20Hz
Pros
  • Affordable
  • Active noise cancelling
  • Long battery life
Cons
  • Lower sound quality comparing to pricier options

Sample Customer Review…I only had a pair of these for 2 months now and so far, they have been the best headphones I ever bought on this site! These E7 Noise Cancelling Headphones have been so comfy, easy, and convenient to use ever since the first day I took them out of the box and started using them. They are pretty much my dream headphones I wanted to have when I relax, listen to music, watch TV, play video games, or even lie down (well on my back because the headphones are pretty big).

Now I’ll be honest, I felt very skeptical at first when getting these because they were going to be the most expensive wireless headphones I ever bought at the time, and I didn’t want to become upset that I’m basically buying Beats headphones. But these $67 headphones that are capable of rechargeable noise canceling, the most comfortable ear cushions ever, and a pretty long battery life shown me that they are most definitely worthy to buy!

Just one teensy little problem though, you can’t switch from NC back to BT on the headphones without turning them off first.

Overall, you get what you paid for and in this case, some Faithful excellent headphones!

9. Apple AirPods Max

The overall quality is excellent for video conferencing with its design. If you are an Apple product lover, it would be a plus for you. Apple Airpods Max can easily share audio between two sets of AirPods on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, or iPod touch. Aside from the technical aspects, this product is also built with high-quality material that looks stylish.

These use a solid block of aluminum that is machined into the ear cups with a comfortable mesh net that distributes the weight elegantly on your head. However, the price is definitely one of the most expensive headphones out there. If the price is not something that gets in your way of it, then go for it!

Specifications:

  • Earcups Design: Over-Ear
  • Wireless Range: N/A
  • Battery Life: 20 hours
  • Frequency Response: N/A
Pros
  • Superior audio quality
  • Decent battery life
  • Compatible with Siri
Cons
  • Audio cable not included
  • Expensive
  • Need Apple product to experience its full potential

Sample Customer Review…Firstly, the battery life. What more can I say? Battery charge is my number one deterrent from all wireless products, I abhor managing battery life and interruptions. These headphones last long enough that it doesn’t matter.
Secondly, the product integration. I love it. I love how easy it is to use with my iPhone, and now I can share my headphone’s audio with other pod users. I have a pair of AirPods Pro, and now, I can use them at the same time as my Max when I want to listen while my fiance is cooking or when we are laying about, I can share. The setup is so easy, all it takes is one press and the devices are designed to work flawlessly, seamlessly, it’s an amazing experience.

They’re comfortable. They fit well, they sit right, it feels good and soft over my ears. The sound quality is more than I would expect from any wireless audio device. Maybe it’s thanks to increases in technology with respect to latency and bandwidth, plus the built-in sound cards in each separate headphone. Whatever it is, it’s really extraordinary. As with any Apple product, the unboxing is great. The product design and aesthetic are popular, understood, and appreciated by most. I took them out this evening and received compliments from strangers, maybe it’s vain to consider that, but as a man of low fashion it’s something I rarely enjoy, so I appreciate it.

Overall, great purchase. Purchased from Amazon instead of Apple store because of shipping speed.

10. AKG Y50BT Bluetooth Headphones

AKG’s Y50BT has an excellent build that would make you look stylish on zoom while experiencing superior audio quality. It also works with a by-pass cable that allows you to continue the meeting even if you run out of battery. However, if you work on your computer for a long time on a daily basis and comfort is important to you, you may want to look for over-ear design headphones instead of this one. However, this is overall one of the best headphones for zoom meetings.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: On-ear
  • Wireless range: 30 meters
  • Battery life: 20 hours
  • Impedance: 32 ohm
  • Frequency response: 20-20kHz
Pros
  • Decent battery life
  • Superior audio quality
  • Cable included
Cons
  • Higher price
  • Less comfortable comparing to over ear design

Sample Customer Review…I’m totally amazed at the sound quality of these headphones. I do hear a slight hiss which I believe to be coming from the amp in the headphone when it gets a signal from the phone and activates, but the overall sound quality is clean and crisp, with clear detailed sound throughout the range, can’t really say that it sounds forward or heavy to any degree. I’d call the sound neutral but dynamic, and not so much that the bass is overdone, but think of it like a system where you have large woofers, and even bigger subwoofers, however, these are tuned, so the bass has impact, but it’s not boomy/bloomy, it goes deep with detail/texture. I wasn’t expecting sound like this, and again it’s so clean over Bluetooth, I use these with my phone, my desktop, and two laptops, and all of them are in sync when watching videos, so no BT lag, or it’s minimal enough to be a non-issue. I believe that for this reason, they work really well with Gear VR (they advise that you use wired headphones). I got these for $119 or so, and they’re worth every penny.

11. Logitech H800

Logitech H800 is one of the best headphones for zoom meetings. This headset is very light and has a bi-fold feature that is very convenient for carrying around or storing in a small space. The price is considerably cheap with fair sound and mic quality, so it would be suitable for you if you do not have a high budget for your new pair of headphones. However, you would have to compromise with some features that might not be the best, such as battery life, earcups design quality, or ANC.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: On-Ear Bi-fold
  • Wireless range: 12 meters
  • Battery life: 6 hours
  • Frequency response:30Hz to 15KHz
  • Impedance: 32 Ohms
Pros
  • Very light
  • Good audio quality
  • Fair price
Cons
  • No active noise cancelling
  • Short battery life
  • Less comfortable comparing to over ear design

Sample Customer Review…I work from home as a solutions engineer and I am always on the phone for hours at a time and these have been a great help, nice fit, and clear sound. My clients always say that my voice comes over very clear and I can hear them just fine. I tend to wander around my house, head to the kitchen for coffee or a snack when on a long call and I can be about 30 feet away, before they say I start to break up. I mainly use it with my computer, but it also works very well with my cellphone too. I found that I can use these for up to 4 to 5 hours, before it starts to beep, letting you know that the battery is going down and I have along USB cord that I can hook up to charge it and I can still stay on the call. But, if you let the battery go too low it will cut out on you and it will take about 10 to 15 minutes of charging before you can start using it again, even if it is connected. This is my second one and the previous one worked just fine for 3 years, but the mic was starting to fail on me and the battery would only seem to last about 2 hours, before needing to be recharged, so I just purchased another one and billed it to my company. For the price, the quality is very good and 3+ years is acceptable for tech products and I use it every day for 5+/- hours a day.

12. Skullcandy Hesh 3

Skullcandy Hesh 3 is also one of the best headphones for zoom meetings. This headset is very light and has a collapsible design that makes it more convenient for carrying around or storing in small bags or purses. The price is considerably cheap. Skullcandy Hesh 3 also offers fair great audio and microphone quality, so it would be suitable for you if you need to communicate through online meetings frequently. However, the build quality is not as good as other headsets. But, if you are someone who is really good at taking care of your headphones, it would still last you for a long time.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: Over-ear
  • Wireless range: N/A
  • Battery life: 22 Hours
  • Frequency response: N/A
  • Impedance: N/A
Pros
  • Very light
  • Good audio quality
  • Affordable
  • Many color options
  • Collapsible Design
Cons
  • No ANC
  • Not the best build quality

Sample Customer Review… love these Skullcandy Bluetooth headphones! They look nice, they fit well and they sound GREAT! I wear mine to the GYM and I do an hour of cardio before doing my weights and I sweat…a lot! I’ve not had any problems with them or the pads that go over my ears are still just as good as when I first got them on Christmas day. I do make sure I clean them as soon as I am done (even before leaving the gym) then once I am home I will always put them on a charge. The runtime on these is amazing too! If you are looking to get healthy, working around your house, or just wanting to listen to music without any annoying wires then give these Skullcandy wireless headphones a try. This brand and pair have replaced my Beats and I will not be going back to them as the Skullcandy brand is just good when it comes to sound and is much better with the ear pads not peeling likely beats did.

13. Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus

These Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus are compatible with devices across brands and come with an app that can be downloaded to Android and iOS operating systems. This app has a handy little feature that allows you to hear your own voice better while on a call, which can be super helpful! Each bud has its own microphone to pick up your voice and minimize outside noise.

These mid-price buds might not have active noise canceling abilities, but they fit snugly and comfortably in your ear, minimizing background noise by design. The battery on these buds is quite impressive. The buds themselves can last up to 11 hours, then be popped back into the charging case to get another 11 hours. That’s 22 hours without having to plug them in! Even if you do run out of charge and are low on time, you need only plug them in for three minutes to receive an hour of battery life.

The price sits in the mid-range, not as pricey if you’re not willing to drop a bundle, but definitely not cheap either. They also come in multiple colors, which is always a bonus for those looking for something to reflect their personality.

Specifications:

  • Earcups design: In-Ear
  • Battery life: Up to 22 hours
  • Android and iOS compatible
Pros
  • Dual microphones for call quality
  • Compatible with Apple and Android devices
  • Wireless charging case
  • Up to 22 battery with the case
  • Many color options
Cons
  • Not actively noise canceling

Sample Customer Review…I chose these because I use a Samsung phone and they had good reviews. I could not be happier with my purchase. The longest I’ve used a bud so far is 8.5 hours, and it still had more than 50% battery remaining when I returned it to the case at the end of my workday. The call quality is just as good. I can make/receive calls with just one bud and have no trouble hearing, nor do the people on the other end.

The app for the buds that you download to your phone allows you to turn on/off ambient noise, which is great when I’m wearing both buds while walking my dogs. I feel so much safer that I can still hear the world around me while also having great sound quality for my music. You can even customize the level of the ambient sound, depending on your preferences.

I’d highly recommend these buds to anyone!

Before Buying the Best Headphones For Zoom Meetings

Price

Buying expensive headphones is not something everyone can afford to do. Although wireless headsets are generally pricier compared to corded headsets, it might be a good investment in purchasing the wireless options for convenience. This list of suggestions provides products with a variety of price options that you can choose depending on your budget.

Earcup Design

Comfort is something to consider if you would be working with computers for a long period of time. Over ear headphones would be the more comfortable design as they have a thicker perimeter ring of padding built around the headphones for support. When you are shopping for a pair of new headphones, it is important to look at the features and make sure they are a good fit.

Microphone and Sound Quality

This might be the most important thing to look at when purchasing headsets. Good audio and microphone would ensure your meetings go smoothly. With higher-spec headsets, they would possibly have active noise cancellation features, whereby the mic actively filters out background interference. In the home working environment, you might want to look for something that helps you focus on the tasks.

Conclusion

The 9 best headphones for zoom meetings are listed above for you to compare and choose from.
