Sample Customer Review…I was skeptical at first: noise-canceling headphones with the good sound quality for $70? I’ve had these over-ear headphones for two days and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t buy them sooner! After a quick charge, I tried them out while reading in the backyard: Amazing! No more sounds of leaf blowers or kids jumping on the trampoline, just pure sweet music.
I’m not an audiophile, but I like all kinds of music, from classical to heavy metal to mellow vocals. No matter what type of music or how loud I played it, the music was clear and there was no distortion. I only tried the loudest setting for a minute because these headphones have the power to make a painfully loud sound. I haven’t worn them for 35 hours yet, but after two days of pretty intensive use, the “connect” prompt says I still have a “high” battery level. I’m really happy I bought these Bluetooth TaoTronics Noise Cancelling Headphones!Read more reviews at Amazon.com

Sample Customer Review…You can not beat these for the price. I compared these to my friend’s Bose QC 35 noise-canceling headphones and these work better! The sound quality at high volumes could be a little cleaner, but it works great for what I need.
These are great for mowing the lawn and blocking the lawnmower noise from my zero turns. My other set of over-the-ear Anker headphones (Soundcore Vortex) needs to be at basically full volume to hear the music while mowing. These do not need to be thanks to the hybrid active noise cancellation. I also really like the folding design of these.
I wish they came with a better case though as I plan on taking them to Europe. A hard case would be better for a carry-on plane ride to protect them. That is really my only big complaint. The bass-up feature is neat and works pretty well if you are into that. The battery life is amazing on these as well. I have had them for a week with daily usage and no charges yet! Overall I am very satisfied with the Anker Soundcore Life Q20 headphones. If you are in the market for a good quality set of noise-canceling headphones you will not be disappointed with these.Read more reviews at Amazon.com

Sample Customer Review…This product is on par with big brand names (and I have used several of them including Bose and Dr. Beats for over 6 months). It works just fine with cellphones and tablets. When turned on, it automatically connects to my cellphone every time after the initial setup.
Voice quality for phone conversations is good; people at the other end could easily hear me. The wired connection is good as well. When one side of the headphone did not work, I contacted the seller. They promptly responded back and took care of the issue, which I’m very happy about. I would highly recommend this product and the seller.Read more reviews at Amazon.com

Sample Customer Review…This is my first pair of noise-canceling headphones. I was much more concerned about the size and weight than an audiophile would be, as my main goal is to be able to use these on planes and while walking.
I use them in my studio when the people in the next room are talking too loud, and when I play music over them, the music sounds great and noise-canceling is quite effective -however with music off, it doesn’t 100% block every noise. Partly this is because these are an on-ear style, which I chose on purpose. Battery life is good. They are nice and light and comfortable on. I was looking for a size and weight appropriate to my needs and good value from a brand I recognized as quality.
I think that these are a fantastic value and extremely useful. I’d recommend them.Read more reviews at Amazon.com
6. Sony MDRZX110NC
The Sony MDR-ZX110NC Noise Cancelling Headphones minimize distractions with ANC. They also have a 12-22,000Hz frequency response resulting in the best bass and treble. They are also said to reduce ambient noise by 95%, so the music can be your main focus. Also, with 80 hours of battery life, this is definitely one of the best in its category for playtime.
- 5.29 oz
- 80 hours of battery life
- 10-22,000hz frequency response
- 1.18-inch drivers
- Neodymium magnet
Sample Customer Review…Having tried everything in the book to tune out my noisy office mates, I decided to give these a try. They are now my solution for everyday wear at work. I don’t have to play my music as loudly as I used to with earbuds in order to tune out the endless chatter and gossip. It works as well as using earbuds with ear protection headgear (like you would use at a shooting range!) together, which is a LOT less comfortable than these headphones.
I suspect there are some out there that cancel ambient noise more effectively, but for the price and quality of these headphones, I am quite satisfied and recommend the product to anyone looking for comfort and effectiveness.Read more reviews at Amazon.com

- 30-hour battery life
- 4.0 Bluetooth
- 2.5 hour charging time
- 40mm drivers
- 20Hz-20,000Hz frequency response
Sample Customer Review…Bought this as a cheaper Sony/Bose alternative that I see everyone wearing at airports. I don’t have hundreds to spend on headphones, so I thought I’d give these a try, not expecting much. I’m simply astounded at the value of these.
The noise cancellation is superb. I’ve tested the Bose and Sony models in best buy so I knew what ANC would be capable of, but I certainly didn’t expect these to match. I am amazed to say that this ANC does in fact compete! The other major benefit that I’m honestly quite surprised about is the battery life. I’ve used them countless hours, even left the ANC overnight on accident, and they still have juice left. Can’t say enough about these headphones, would recommend them to anyone looking for headphones under $100!Read more reviews at Amazon.com

Sample Customer Review…I have a pair of noise-cancelling Bose headphones which are the best on the market. These Panasonics are really close in sound quality and noise-cancelling at a fraction of the cost of the Bose. The noise cancelling is good and effective. The sound is nice and crisp with good bass. The build quality of these is just as good as the Bose. Really solid and put together well.
The best thing about them is the fact that they are super comfortable and the battery lasts an insanely long time! I have paired these with multiple devices including a Mac Book Pro and an iPhone XS and connecting is easy and I never have any drops. Love the retro look as well. For a fraction of the price of Bose and others, these are a great buy.Read more reviews at Amazon.com

Sample Customer Review…Previously, I made a review about how good these headphones are and how unsatisfactory I was about the noise canceling system and the sound quality. Tribit has recently reached out to me to immediately resolve the issue and offered me another pair of noise-canceling headphones with better sound quality. I have returned to this page to remove my previous, low-rated review and create a much, better review of the previous set of headphones that I bought.
As it turns out, my headphones actually DO have an extraordinary noise canceling system and amazing sound quality. What happened was that I was unaware of the built-in volume system these headphones contained. I have tested them out and it turns out that it enhances the noise canceling function. The bass system is deep and heavy for those who are addicted to music containing deep bass sounds. I believe that these bring a huge sense of eternal bliss and inner peace each time I use them. I love it. 10/10. Thank you so much, Tribit, for reaching out to me.Read more reviews at Amazon.com
How to Choose the Best Noise Cancelling Headphones Under $100
If you’re looking to buy noise-canceling headphones for under $100, you might prioritize a couple of specific features over other ones, especially their noise cancellation abilities. A lot of headphones have this feature, some better than others. If you want a pair for under $100, you might need to sacrifice some other things. For this reason, here are some things you should consider before buying your noise-canceling headphones, which include noise cancellation, price, over-ear vs. in-ear, and battery life.
The most important thing when it comes to noise-canceling headphones is… noise cancellation! A lot of different headphones offer Active Noise Cancellation, with some being better than others. This technology basically uses multiple microphones to actively seek out outside noise, and block them out to minimize distractions.
If you are looking to spend under $100 for your headphones, chances are the price is an important factor to you. Because these headphones are all under $100, whether that be by $10 or $70, you will still get quality headphones for these prices, with each pair offering its own set of strengths and weaknesses. A good pair with great features like 80 hours of playtime is the Sony MDRZX110NC headphones, which are still set at a good price of $38 on Amazon.
Over-Ear Vs. In-Ear
Another thing you might want to consider is if you want over-ear or in-ear headphones. It tends to be that many of the Active Noise Cancelling headphones on the market are over-ear, most likely due to their design. The sound muffling ear cups are often a reason for this, naturally blocking out the sound, especially with ANC. However, there are still some good in-ear noise-canceling headphones on the market, such as the Sony WI-SP600N Wireless headphones.
Finally, battery life is another important thing to think about if you’re looking for wireless headphones. The battery life of the headphones featured on this Top 10 list ranges from around 6 hours of playtime to an impressive 80 with the Sony MDRZX110NC headphones. It is known that ANC can bring down the battery life, lasting in a shorter amount of time, but headphones with a good battery life should still have a decent amount of playtime.
We hope that this guide helped you find the best noise-canceling headphones under $100 for your needs. It’s understandable if you’re overwhelmed with the many choices on the market, which is why this guide helps to break down everything there is to know!
