Sample Customer Review…This a really great product for its price. The touchscreen and keyboard work a lot better than I expected. I wish, however, that the keyboard was backlit. As is expected with thin devices, it gets pretty hot. This a device for light work. It cannot handle a heavy load. I usually have issues if while on a Zoom call, I share my screen and attempt to play a YouTube video.

Generally, I’m extremely happy with it. It’s a versatile product with a modern look and feels to it.

Cons
  • The laptop gets hot with continued use
  • Has some issues with the screen

Sample Customer Review… I never had much luck with laptops. Over the past 11 years, I’ve owned HP’s, Toshiba, & Gateway but they didn’t last long and didn’t perform well. I become fed up, and got a subscription to Consumer Reports. I spent a couple of months researching computers both on CR and elsewhere. The research was clear: Lenovo was extremely well-rated. So I acted on the research, bought a Lenovo, and all my laptop troubles and disappointments ended! This Lenovo Yoga 920 is lightning-fast and consistent. I use it for professional writing, managing my finances and paying my bills, doing most of my shopping and purchasing, storing and listening to music, general web surfing, email, and social media. The most important task I need from a laptop is with my writing. I have published a book, and I’m working on another. I also write poems and shorts stories aside from books. This Lenovo handles all aspects of my writing beautifully; using Microsoft Word, online & offline research, the uploading of manuscripts, the downloading of apps, tools, my book covers, and finished books, and it does it all flawlessly and at the speed of light. For the first time I have confidence in my laptop, and really enjoy using it.

Sample Customer Review…The computer works about as I expected. This is my second Yoga and it seems like there is always a little hiccup. For example, the fan in the computer is loud which is inconvenient if you are trying to record a video. Also, there is a weird issue with the power button, sometimes it doesn’t work in the wake-up mode so you have to push it and hold it for 15 seconds to get it going again. Overall, it works well, though.

Buy a USB-C dock and it’s easy to use as a desktop computer with an additional monitor.

Buying Guide: Things to Consider When Purchasing a Lenovo Laptop

Lenovo is a well-known brand. Based in China, Lenovo has been producing quality laptops for a while now. They have a sleek design and great display. They are available at a variety of prices, styles, and features. But before selecting one of these computers, you should answer the question: why are you buying a laptop? Is it for gaming? School? Depending on your answer, you may end up buying very different laptops. While the Lenovo Legion is optimal for gaming, it may be hard to justify its price tag if you are just using it for other purposes. It is important to look at why you are making the purchase before deciding to just pick one.

Lenovo laptops fall into many different categories. Even among the high-end Lenovos there exist differences in features. It is important to know these differences when making a purchase. Just because a computer is the most expensive does not mean that it will be the best fit for you!

Conclusion

Lenovo Laptops come in a variety of prices, styles, and features. The cheapest versatile, high-end Lenovo laptop that we found is the Lenovo Thinkbook E15 for $879. The most expensive and highest quality Lenovo laptop we have listed is $2999. We think that Lenovo Legion is the best Lenovo for gaming, and Lenovo Yoga C90 is the best laptop and tablet combination for school work. Finally, the best Lenovo for work would, again, be the 879 Lenovo Thinkpad E15. Nevertheless, all of these laptops are the highest tier in the batch, so both browse and buy at your leisure.
