1. UREVO Under Desk Treadmill

This treadmill is great for those who have a standing desk and want to burn more calories. It also has a display that can be unfolded when not at a desk. It’s perfect for the at-home office!

Pros
  • Foldable treadmill
  • Can be placed under a standing desk
  • Great for burning calories throughout the day
  • Can walk while working, or walk/run during breaks
  • Perfect for those who need to move/spend extra energy to focus
Cons
  • Not suitable for those who need to sit still to focus

Sample Customer Review…I ordered this treadmill because I live in a small apartment but needed something to stay active indoors during the pandemic. This treadmill was a perfect choice. It’s compact and easy to maneuver when you need to get it out of the way. You can hear the friction of the belt against the platform while it’s in use, but overall, it’s not too loud.

I like that it can still be used with the handle lowered and it comes with a convenient little remote. That will allow me to repurpose it for use with a standing desk when I have space. It’s also sturdy. When I was looking for compact treadmills this is one of the only options that support up to 265 lbs.

2. OMA Home Treadmill

No products found.

This treadmill is an updated version of OMA’s home treadmill. It has 36 presets, and tracks distance, time, heart rate, and more.

Pros
  • 36 presets
  • Fast control
  • Tracks distance, heart rate, time, and calories
  • 3 incline positions
  • Speed up to 8.1 mph
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those who run at a speed faster than 8.1 mph or those who train to increase speed

Sample Customer Review…The treadmill has been used for more than two weeks. It was surprised me that the installation process of this one is quite simple. There are only screws that need to be installed and the screwdriver is available in the package. The running noise of this treadmill is very low.

There are several running modes to choose from. The slope can be adjusted, and the heart rate can also be monitored. For me, the width of the treadmill just fits my body shape, I hope it can be a little wider.

I won’t say it’s super, but it’s good enough for the beginner. If you are unprofessional people who tried to put the machine in your living room or bedroom so that you could use it occasionally while watching the TV, this is a good choice. Hope my comment can be helpful.

3. 3G Cardio Elite Runner Treadmill

The 3G Cardio’s Elite Treadmill is a great choice for a treadmill. This treadmill is designed for athletes and serious runners. It is built to optimize your exercise experience. It offers a high weight-bearing capacity for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of the great specs on this treadmill:

Pros
  • Heavy-duty motor prevents overloading and electronic burnout.
  • 22×62 inch long running deck for tall height users.
  • Ergonomic design
  • Ortho Flex Shock system absorbs knee joint impact.
  • Many preset programs to kickstart your workout.
Cons
  • Basic advanced features available as compared to others

Sample Customer Review… I haven’t had this treadmill for very long but so far it’s been everything I’ve hoped it would be. This no flimsy toy — it’s a substantial machine that I have no doubt will provide many years of great workouts. It’s very easy to operate, extremely sturdy, stable, smooth, and relatively quiet.

This treadmill easily meets or exceeds the quality of treadmills I’ve used over many years located at various gyms, YMCA’s, etc. Honestly, you are getting a very nice product for the money spent. Good health is paramount to pretty much anything else so I say go for it if you can afford it or maybe just begin saving up for it.

4. Horizon Fitness T202

Do you need something to hold your attention while you’re exercising? This treadmill comes with a screen just for your viewing pleasure. A Bluetooth-media connectivity option is available.  Now you can enjoy movies, workout classes, or music as per your mood. The sound quality is unbelievable and will surely get you moving towards your goal with this two-in-one entertainment and workout station.

Pros
  • One touch key swiftly shifts incline and speed
  • Tablet/phone device holder
  • Oversize three zonal cushioning decks for convenient footfalls.
  • High durability with Motor and Frame lifetime Warranty.
  • Bluetooth and media connectivity for workout entertainment.
Cons
  • A little bit on the pricier side.

Sample Customer Review… I have had this treadmill for about a month and it is solid (heavy-duty steel), durable, and gives me the features I wanted in a more expensive treadmill. The speed, incline, distance, and time features are great and very easy to use. I don’t move it around or fold it up but it seems easy enough.

It’s very quiet and has a built-in mini fan which is nice. I watch Netflix/Amazon while working out and always attach the auto shut-off clip in case I’m not paying attention to how far back on the track I’m getting. I did a lot of research on these and I’m glad I purchased this and would do it again.

5. NordicTrack T 8.5 S Treadmill

Nordic Track treadmill provides you the experience of working with trainers just as you do at the gym. By syncing their iFit app, trainers can increase, decrease, incline, and decline your position throughout the workout.

Pros
  • Easy Assembly
  • High Quality and durable steel frame
  • Selected workout programs automatically adjust the incline.
  • 50 built-in workout programs
  • Easy cardio workout with ECG pulse monitoring.
Cons
  • Not as Large frame compare to other treadmills within the list

Sample Customer Review… Ordered the 8.5 after trying a less expensive treadmill from Xterra. This is definitely worth the money if you are looking to make an investment in your health. It’s, first of all, a great treadmill. The shock absorbers work well and it’s great to be able to fold up if necessary. The 3.5 CHP motor makes for a smooth run.

The 12% incline adds a serious challenge. The iFit subscription is quite fun so far, though it remains to be seen if we will resubscribe after the free year. The fact that it can control the speed and incline is honestly really cool. I recommend the 8.5 esp because the slight increase in price over the 6.5 is worth it for the larger motor. Five stars.

  • Free-running social application to run side by side with people.
  • 19 locations and 27 routes from around the world.
  • 26 custom programs for training.
  • Heart rate monitoring aids in a cardio workout.
Cons
  • A little bit heavy as compared to other treadmills in a list.

Sample Customer Review… I got this treadmill last week, installed it yesterday & did my first run yesterday as well! I am an avid runner and needed a better treadmill than the cheap one I had before that was old and the belt was starting to wrinkle. This treadmill does not disappoint! It feels very supportive, not a firm/hard landing.

Very responsive – I was doing sprint intervals on it and it made the transitions easy. I like how there are three (!) different places where they have put buttons on the treadmill to select or change the incline and/or speed of the treadmill.

You also have a great, secure place to put your iPad and plug it into the treadmill which then plays the volume through the speakers on the treadmill… I didn’t really care about that when I bought it, but turns out it works amazingly! I was so thrilled to be able to hear everything so clearly without blaring the TV/iPad or having to use headphones. Not only that, it’s actually a pretty quiet treadmill…

when I got up to my sprint speeds, it definitely was louder but it wasn’t outrageous and my husband said he couldn’t hear me in the other room. Very pleased thus far!

This is a pocket-friendly fitness option that keeps you fit all year round. It is a smartly designed treadmill that delivers various speeds and inclines positions. It is the most accessible and easy-to-use treadmill that will keep you strong and healthy in a safe way.

Pros
  • Compact and Lightweight.
  • Heart rate monitor ideal for cardiac patients’ workout.
  • Wheels for easy move around.
  • Effortless folding saves space.
  • Side handle supports in case of an emergency slip.
Cons
  • Narrow running deck compared to others within the list

Sample Customer Review…Easy to set up. Minimal screws and adjustments needed to get it in working order. The box was intact and it was delivered in pristine condition. It took me less than 30 minutes to open and set up. Narrow belt, but that’s to be expected with a home gym treadmill unless you move towards a more commercial model.

I am sure this will do the job of helping us get in more steps throughout the day while having kids at home. Since we can not always leave home this will make that habit easier to apply.

  • Affordable
Cons
  • It has a basic console panel compared to others.

Sample Customer Review…Let me start by saying I don’t normally write reviews, but in this case, I am making an exception for a couple of reasons. First, I must say I was very nervous about buying a product like this online without seeing it in person. But no issue here. After I took it out of the box I was pleasantly surprised.

I am not a “handy” person at all, but the assembly was a breeze. I was running on the treadmill in less than 30 minutes after receiving it. Both my wife and I use the treadmill daily and love it! It is built solid, and the programs provide us with a different workout each time, helping to eliminate boredom. Perfect size because it is so compact.

It’s allowed me to find a true passion for the fitness community. On top of that, the easy storage mechanics and built-in Bluetooth speakers were icing on the cake. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a treadmill that will change the way in which they value fitness.

10. MaxKare Folding Treadmill

No products found.

If you’re on a tight budget, the best option is to buy the MaxKAre. It is a top seller in treadmills due to its compact design, flexible options, and economical prices. It is your family health companion. It doesn’t have to cost your savings to get healthy.

Pros
  • Noiseless operation
  • Light weight
  • Portable
  • Affordable
  • Easy Assembly
  • Space saver
Cons
  • Some people may find it difficult to move — no transport wheels available.

Sample Customer Review…I was so excited to see this machine was standing by the door this morning and couldn’t wait to start the project! Actually, as long as you read and follow the instruction carefully, it’s not hard to assemble it. For me, it took me about an hour because I was stuck at the beginning to figure out which part it is. Basically, it has all the functions I need, walking and running at different speeds.

There are two cup holders on the top and one bottle holder on the side. The best thing I like about this running machine is the LED screen, so I can see it clearly at night! My mom was worried about it will occupy a lot of space, but actually, it doesn’t since it can be folded. I will just fold and leave it in the corner of my room when I don’t need it. One thing I have to mention is that it is super quiet! I had another one a few years ago, and that one was really loud.

Finally, I had to give it away. I will get more fitness stuff and start to build up my own fitness room. This machine definitely worth to invest and saves me hundreds of dollars for the gym!

We love the fact that the handlebar can be folded down, so if you don’t want the bars on the side you can just fold it down. It’s a great feature. If I could change one thing it would be so that the screen showed the end result of your walk/run when you stopped.

Things to Consider Before Buying Treadmills By Top 10 Consumer

Design

There are generally three options on the market for treadmills. These designs are non-folding, foldup, and fold down. Your decision should be based on preference and how your home is configured. It is preferred to buy treadmills that fold up and fold down to save space.

Cost

It is not always true that a more expensive option will be better than an inexpensive option. It will depend on what kind of experience you desire. In our list, there are many options available from a basic budget-friendly electric treadmill to an advanced one with a screen display, Bluetooth connectivity, live training experience, and app sync.

Speed and incline position

Various models are available from 0 to 12 mph speed range. For the incline option, you can choose auto or manual incline treadmill as per your preference. Auto incline treadmills are more expensive but more comfortable to use as compared to manual ones.

Weight Limit and Motor Power

The weight limit a treadmill has is directly related to its motor power. If you are on the heavier side, choose a treadmill with more motor power as it will automatically provide a higher weight limit. You can also find out the weight limit/weight-bearing capacity on our list for easy buying.

Material: Frame, Running Deck, and Cushioning

Always choose a large and broad running deck with anti-slip belt material and cushioning technology to absorb the stress and shock of running. It prevents knee and joint injuries. A solidly built steel frame is preferable as it tends to have a longer life.

Technology: Bluetooth, USB, Speaker, Screen, and LCD Display

We recommended you have a treadmill with an LCD display and speaker to have a good experience. You can also check out our list for all kinds of treadmills from basic to advance.

Warranty of Parts, Frame, and Motor

Parts, frame and motor warranty range from 1 year to a lifetime. While buying, always check the warranty. We’d suggest looking at a treadmill that has an extended motor warranty as the motor is the most critical component of the treadmill.
