Auto Chess Tier List

Auto Chess Tier List

Are you having trouble winning Auto Chess games? Look no further! This Auto Chess Tier List includes everything you need to know about the characters’ performance to win more games!

How Does it Work?

Auto Chess is a modification for the game Dota. Much like Dota, each of the characters is unique and has a set of skills that is entirely their own. Players can then utilize different characters in different situations. It is essential to know which skills are best used in a specific case. This list will help you understand how each character will perform in battle.

The characters are ranked from best to worst, and each tier gives more information about the two best units. S Tier characters are the best options for any scenario but are not accessible without large amounts of gold.

S Tier: The Best of the Best

Characters of the S Tier are the most powerful and the most versatile, making them the best to invest your gold in. It is extremely easy to find a use for them because they excel in many areas of the game. The two most powerful characters to use in the game are Tidehunter and Disruptor.

Tide hunter has the highest area of effect (AoE) out of all of the game’s characters. His ability to control the battlefield is an extremely valuable asset as you progress through the game.

Disruptor provides a unique ability to disable your opponent’s abilities if used at the correct time.

Here is a complete list of all S-Tier Characters:

  • Tidehunter
  • Disruptor
  • Beastmaster
  • Hunkka
  • Bounty Hunter
  • Axe
  • Enigma
  • Sven
  • Io

A Tier: Powerful Players

This tier nearly matches the power and force of the S Tier. Some characters have the potential to even beat S Tier heroes; however, sometimes, they fall just short. A solid investment for your gold, the top two heroes of this tier are Techies and Lone Druid.

Techies, a member of the Goblin species, is integral because of his ability to plant mines. The earlier you utilize him, the better.

Lone Druid is a great addition to your roster because of his “bear summon” ability. This bear is more substantial than most characters you can buy and has its own ability– entangle. After summoning the bear, you can place it in front of your other characters for extra protection.

Here is a complete list of A-Tier characters:

  • Techies
  • Lone Druid
  • Doom
  • Shadow Fiend
  • Lich
  • Timbersaw
  • Queen of Pain
  • Medusa
  • Gyrocopter
  • Juggernaut

B Tier: Strong and Specialized

Characters in this tier are best suited for specific jobs. If placed in their niche, they perform very well. However, these characters are not meant to be used in a universal setting. Knowing when to use them will be beneficial as you progress. The most potent B-Tier characters are Alchemist and Treant Protector.

Alchemist needs to be between Warlock and/or Goblin synergies to perform to the fullest potential. He has high tanking and damage abilities if he is in the correct element.

Treant Protector must be used with Druid and Elf synergies to maximize his output. Once used correctly, he is one of the best tanks in the game.

Here is a complete list of characters in the B Tier:

  • Alchemist
  • Treant Protector
  • Dragon Knight
  • Anti-Mage
  • Razor
  • Troll Warlord
  • Slardar
  • Clockwerk
  • Templar Assassin
  • Zeus
  • Dazzle

C Tier: Average At Best

Units in this tier are not particularly high-leveled or powerful but can provide consistency, especially during the early game. The two best characters of this tier are Lina and Death Prophet.

Lina is helpful when trying to form a Mage strategy, which allows you to deal an excessive amount of AoE to your opponent. Aside from this specialized attack, she is not extremely useful.

Death Prophet has decent tanking and damage-dealing abilities; however, aside from those, she is also not extremely useful.

Here is a complete list of C-Tier heroes:

  • Lina
  • Death Prophet
  • Chaos Knight
  • Viper
  • Enchantress
  • Terror Blade
  • Necrophos
  • Witch Doctor

D Tier: Just for Show

D Tier characters have decent performance in the beginning but are easily outclassed as the game goes on. The two best D-Tier characters are Phantom Assassin and Omniknight.

Phantom Assassin possesses similar characteristics to Bounty Hunter but is weaker and dies quicker, even when used with synergies.

Omniknight is a sufficient hero for beginners. However, in the late game, he is surpassed by other characters with the same synergies.

Here is a complete list of all D-Tier characters:

  • Phantom Assassin
  • Omniknight
  • Windranger
  • Ogre Magi
  • Abaddon
  • Batrider
  • Lycan
  • Tusk

E Tier: Below Average Performers

These units should not be used if at all possible. They are not frail, unspecialized, and outranked by other characters. The two best characters of this tier are Sniper and Puck.

Sniper’s stats are not terrible; however, his ability to choose a random target each time makes him an unreliable character and not worth investing time and gold into.

Puck can utilize AoE control quite well. However, this single ability does not make her valuable enough for consistent use.

Here is a complete list of E-Tier characters:

  • Sniper
  • Slark
  • Shadow Shaman
  • Drow Ranger
  • Tinker
  • Furion
  • Keeper of the Light

Along with the E Tier characters, heroes from this tier should not be used if you want to win battles. They are not powerful or reliable enough to win matches. The two main F-Tier characters are Morphling and Luna.

Morphling’s abilities are unable to remain consistent throughout the game. This, combined with the fact he has the worst stats in the Assassin Class, makes him an F Tier character.

Luna has low utility capabilities unless she is combined with items or synergies. However, even after being combined with additional items, she is only able to deal damage in one dimension, making her an unimpressive hero overall.

Here is a complete list of the F-Tier characters:

  • Morphling
  • Luna
  • Tiny
  • Sandking
  • Venomancer
  • Crystal Maiden
  • Ogre Magi
  • Mirana

Auto Chess Tier List Final Thoughts

Using this complete list of characters will help you better understand how your heroes will perform. Remember, the higher the tier, the better the unit will perform. Some units require special conditions in order to be most effective. Try pairing them with the synergies listed above!
