Risk of Rain 2 will allow you to explore your imagination by playing on an alien planet where people are stranded. Your mission is to help them survive and search for teleports to take you to the next level. Throughout the game, you will have to battle hordes of enemies and challenging bosses. Risk of Rain 2 allows you to play with multiple friends to help fight the enemies.
To advance through each stage, you’ll need a capable crew. Here is where our Risk of Rain 2 Tier List comes into play. It’ll go through the most extraordinary Survivors in the game. By reading this list, you will know which Survivors are the best and who not to choose.
Bandit is one of the most adaptable Survivors in the meta right now. His abilities enable him to carry out sneaky assaults with significant damage potential. However, Bandit has a pretty high skill ceiling; thus, mastering his character’s idiosyncrasies may take some time.
The Captain is one of the game’s finest damage dealers. Because of the powers of his shotgun, he can be lethal at both close and long range. Captain also possesses specific crowd control abilities that you may use in a pinch.
Loader is another excellent damage dealer. Although her damage potential isn’t as high as Captain’s, her mobility more than compensates. She can attract opponents or draw herself to a larger target. As a result, she is one of the finest Survivors for traversing a busy level.
MUL-T is the resident tank in Risk of Rain 2. He has the greatest basic HP and defensive stats in the game, so players don’t have to worry about escaping assaults. However, the disadvantage is that he does not have a significant damage potential.
The Huntress’ abilities are a combination of mysterious and damage-focused powers. She can fly over adversaries unharmed, then utilize AoE’s abilities to annihilate swarms of them. Her character build does not have as much damage potential as the Survivors in S-Tier, which is why she isn’t at the top tier.
The Heretic is a secret playable character in Risk of Rain 2. She possesses the most basic health, damage, and speed in the whole Survivor roster, which makes her incredibly valuable in any circumstance. The only catch is her negative health regeneration.
Acrid’s poison powers, dependent on percentages, allow him to perform best when battling bosses. He’s also a formidable player that can absorb a significant amount of damage. The more powerful the adversary, the more harm he inflicts.
On the other hand, his poison does not operate effectively on lesser foes. Even though he’s entertaining to employ, he’s too specialized for familiar foes. His mobility is also lacking in comparison to other melee heroes.
Engineer players must adopt a more strategic approach to their gameplay. His abilities include erecting turrets around the map that do damage for him. He may also summon a shield to defend himself against hostile strikes. However, his guards are readily broken by foes late in the game. Thus, players must learn turret placement to optimize their damage output.
REX is a high-risk, high-reward Survivor who deals massive damage by devouring his own HP. As a result, he is one of the game’s most challenging characters to control. Players will most likely pull the entire squad down unless they have a firm grip on his skill set. He can also regulate his HP with his Bramble Volley and Tangling Growth abilities.
The character on the C-tier is far more helpful than the Commando. However, he is not the greatest in the game. Even so, if you’re familiar with the Mercenary’s strengths, you should be able to perform well.
Mercenary was ranked A in every magazine when Risk of Rain 2 was initially launched. His abilities, including double jumping, I-frames, and slamming, were among the most potent in the game. However, in the most recent update, he suffered a significant nerf, with his Base Health, Regeneration, and his cool down being drastically altered.
Mercenary is now merely an ordinary melee survivor that is a pale ghost of his former self. It’s only that, with so many alterations in his skills, he’s become highly unpopular. Similarly, rather than simply getting into the game and expecting miracles, it would be preferable for new players to discover how their strategies operate.
D-Tier belongs to the Commando. He’s the first character you must unlock in the Risk of Rain 2.
Commando is your starting character. His game style is excruciatingly simple, with players doing little more than firing, ducking, and shooting again. His abilities are also unimpressive, consisting of conventional gun-based assaults that deliver fair damage. Thus, it’s hardly surprising that he’s at the lowest tier.
Risk of Rain 2 Tier List: Conclusion
Risk of Rain 2 is an enjoyable cooperative shooter with a vibrant setting and fast-paced action. Not all survivors are made equal, as seen by our Risk of Rain 2 Tier List. If you want to go through the game’s monster-infested stages, make sure you invest in the proper ones.
